About Mark Medley
Mark Medley is a native East Tennessean who worked as an Electrical Engineer and Musician before joining the pastoral staff at Trinity Community Church (formerly Trinity Chapel), Knoxville, Tennessee in 1989. His duties have included developing worship and the arts, pastoral care and counseling, overseeing networks of House Churches and teaching in many different capacities. In 2002 he helped to start Trinity College of Ministry, and was Dean of Student Affairs at the college for eight years.
In his pastoral position at Trinity he works primarily in developing leaders and coordinating missions efforts. Mark is a Certified Strengths Trainer through the Gallup organization and a Church Coach through Ministry Advantage, an organization that helps churches create the practical means of realizing the vision that God has given them. Mark is also a Certified Mentor for church planters through Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI) and has helped equip church planters regionally and internationally.
Mark has traveled to many countries and, wherever he finds himself, is passionate about developing pastors and leaders. His particular passion is equipping pastoral networks in the nations through his travels and his distance-coaching resources.
He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering, Music and Theology.
Mark and his wife Melissa are the parents of four beautiful children.
